APTECH provides clients with professional engineering services for plants and facilities.
Our intent is to provide excellent technical services at a low cost.

  • Plant and Facility Design: Complete projects from conceptual design through startup. A combination of strong technical knowledge and plant and field experience provides cost-effective designs for cryogenic and refrigeration/NGL extraction, NGL fractionation, H2S and CO2 removal, LPG storage and product handling, sulfur recovery, nitrogen rejection and numerous other processes.

  • Process and Production Engineering: A wide range of engineering services such as debottlenecking studies, process optimizations, design & drafting and facilities upgrades. Specialists available in areas such as custody transfer of gas and liquids, pressure vessel code, pipelines, piping thermal stress analysis, process simulations, process design and equipment sizing and selection.

  • Project Management: Complete services in bidding and contractor selection, cost estimating and tracking, scheduling, equipment specification development, procurement, commissioning/startup and project final documentation. Experienced construction supervision for assistance with construction and fabrication planning, safety program, etc.

  • Process Safety Management/Safety System: Establishment of PSM programs that compile with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119. Extensive experience in developing and implementing all aspects of 14 elements of PSM. Design of safety & shutdown systems and fire protection.

  • Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies: Development of Class III project cost estimates to support funding. Team compiled of appropriate disciplines to develop project schedule, obtain vendor quotes on major equipment, identify long-head time material and equipment for early procurement and generate preliminary drawings including P&ID's, list, tables and other documentation.

  • Pressure Relief System Design: Systematic and logical approach to ensure design of a safe and reliable relief system. Determine facility maximum relief loads for purposes of defining flare header and flare tip design basis. Sizing of all required facility PSV's, development of all global relief scenarios and documentation of flare system design basis to ensure compliance with OSHA's 1910.119 and other regulatory requirements.
